The 11th biennial Workshop on Meteorological Operational Systems was held at the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts on 12-16 November 2007.
The objective of the workshop was to review the state of the art of meteorological operational systems and to address future trends in:
- the use and interpretation of medium and extended range forecast guidance;
- operational data management systems;
- meteorological visualisation applications.
The workshop proved to be very popular with over 80 participants from ECMWF Member States, Co-operating States, from other parts of Europe and beyond.
